I stayed here back in 2008. It was a lovely place. We had a great view over the resort and were greeted with nothing but welcoming, friendly service from the staff. It was a very enjoyable trip indeed. If I ever come back to Sharm el Sheilkh, I will most certainly be staying here again!

We have recently returned from a superb 2 week holiday in Egypt staying at the Xperience Kiroseiz Parkland. The Christmas & New Year galas were superb. The amount of work that had gone in to organising them must have been immense. We will remember those evenings for the remained of our lives. The staff kept smiling and being completely professional throughout the evenings. We upgraded to a pool view room (1005) which also overlooked the lovely gardens & had distant views of the mountains - well worth the extra $120. We did have to request that all our bedding be replaced due to the smell of tobacco smoke - it seems that the vast majority of guests and Egypians smoke heavily. Our original room over looked the Aqua Park/road and the air conditioning, balcony light and security safe did not work properly. We were massively impressed by the selection of food available, including freshly cooked BBQ, pasta, omelettes, fried eggs & pancakes etc. The staff did an excellent job serving drinks and clearing tables. Unfortunately some of the Russian & more affluent Arab guests would not queue for anything so just rudely push in & often piled their plates up high with food leaving much upon leaving - a disgusting waste of lovely food. Management need to take action to reduce the time spent queuing. When the hotel is full the queuing issue must be a nightmare for guests. At future gala events guests from a number of tables (say 10 tables at a time) should be invited to get their food rather than inviting everybody at once...it ended up like a mad rush for the food with some Russians and affluent Arabs pushing in. Thankfully the hotel management during our stay began to arrange for a member of staff to patrol the bus queue to prevent these people pushing in. We loved visiting both the sandy & snorkling beaches but feel that having to travel by bus when the hotel is full, or when it is very hot, could be a problem. We were concerned whether there would be enough sunbeds for everybody either at the hotel or beaches. Possibly providing sunbeds for those rooms that have balconies could help. We had a great day at Cleo Water Park but the water was freezing cold but we wore our short wet suits which helped. Unfortunately the water in the hotel Aqua Park was unheated but the slides were great fun. The heated outdoor Spa was a suberb facility...as hot as a bath! We enjoyed our excursion to St. Catherine Monastry but the journey is very long. We found excursions expensive. We loved our evening out to Soho Square (£4 via taxi) which has many posh shops (fixed prices), clean toilets & an indoor ice skating rink. We avoided an upset stomach by never drinking the tap water (which is yellow) or Delta Aqua water, red bottles which contain high levels of magnesium, potassium & sodium that apparently can pass through you like a dose of salts. We drank only the Dasani water (produced by Coca Cola @ 40p a large bottle) which we purchased in the local shops. We also used hand santiser before eating & encouraged our daughter to not eat her nails etc! We avoided eating salad which is washed in the tap water. We would suggest that hand sanitiser dispensers be provided in all toilets and installed at the entrance of all restaurants (as they do on cruise ships to prevent illness). All food, indoor or outdoor, should be covered and refrigerated, ice cream scoops should not left to stand in a pot of dirty water & staff who sneeze should wash their hands or replace their rubber gloves before continuing to cook or serve food. Our daughter celebrated her 11th birthday in the Bukhara Indian restaurant. A big thank you to all the staff who made her day very special. We used the red flag system to prevent staff selling us meals or expensive spa treatments but occasionally they ignored the flags which was really annoying and unprofessional. The hotel Wi-Fi access problems need resolving but thankfully we had no problems via the local cafe. The area around where the table tennis & snooker tables are situated, with the shops above, needs a good clean - that whole area smelt of smoke and looked dirty. The toilets in that area always looked dirty and smelt badly. We enjoyed the evening entertainment but it should have continued longer. The entertainment team were great fun - we loved the WC Zip Zip sketch...great fun! In some of the bar areas staff seemed under great pressure and there was obviously a need for more staff. In addition to helping them it would help create a more relaxing environment for guests. In conclusion we had a great holiday in a great hotel. Thank you to everybody at Xperience Kiroseiz Parkland.
